Michael jackson heal the world

Don’t stop ’til you get enoughThis song was very important in Jackson’s career, as it led him to win the first Grammy Award, with which he was recognized for ‘Best Male R&B Vocal Performance’. Released on July 28, 1979, the song was written and composed by Jackson in late 1978, with production by Quincy Jones and Michael himself, becoming one of the singer’s most successful songs. His mother, a devout Jehovah’s Witness, was not too happy with the title or the content of the song, because she claimed that it could be misinterpreted and related to sex. However, her son assured her that the song was not a reference to sexual relations, but could mean what people wanted it to mean.
An interesting fact is that the electric guitar riff of the single seems to be inspired by John Lennon’s song Woman. The song was performed, along with other Jackson hits at the 1993 SuperBowl. That performance is still considered the most successful of this event and at the time the most watched television event in history.

About the plastic surgery rumor, in the interview with Oprah, Michael was emphatic that he only had two nose jobs to help him breathe better and achieve higher grades. He also said that his features were thinner because he had been on a diet to lose weight, so that he could dance more easily.
